PHYTO-FUEL® is a concentrated formula of the well known Guillard’s F/2 Fertilizer. PHYTO-FUEL® is an essential food source if you are culturing Live Phytoplankton. The Guillard F/2 Fertilizer formula is tried and proven and is the go to for a safe nutrition source for growing Phytoplankton. This formula is a 50x concentrate of major nutrients, trace metals, and vitamins that are added to your Live Phytoplankton culture in effort to fuel the growth process during cultivation. With 8oz. of PHYTO-FUEL® (F/2 Fertilizer), you will be able to make 236 liters of Phytoplankton which is 62 gallons of Phytoplankton! (dosing 1mL F/2 per 1 liter)

• This formula of F/2 Fertilizer DOES NOT contain any silicates
• Used to culture Live Phytoplanktons such as Nannochloropsis, Tetraselmis, and Thalassiosira
• Phyto-Fuel® is not intended for feeding or dosing into a Reef Tank!

We recommend dosing 1.5 mL of Guillard’s F/2 fertilizer medium per liter of culture volume. Total culture volume is the combined volume of Phytoplankton and saltwater. As an example, the required amount of F/2 fertilizer for a 2 liter bottle would be 3mL of F/2.
