Chaeto 100% Satisfaction Guarantee – DOA Policy

Thanks for purchasing our Tumbleweed Chaeto! Here is a quick guide to explain our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for Macro-algae products. There are several questions that customers have when it comes to purchasing Chaeto algae and this should help answer any questions or concerns you might have.

Each order is precisely measured out using measuring cups and is not measured by weight. During shipping transit, Chaeto may deflate below the initial measured volume, but be rest assured that it will return to normal health once properly introduced into your sump or refugium. During colder climates, we pack with insulation and a heat pack to help avoid freezing. We ask that our customers allow the Chaeto to live in the sump or refugium for at least 72 hours for proper acclimation before deeming the Chaeto DOA. Chaeto does require light to grow, so be sure to run a 12 hour light cycle with the appropriate grow light.

If you believe your Chaeto algae may be dead on arrival (DOA), please do not throw away! Contact us right away so we can assist you with your order and be sure to take pictures and/or videos of the Chaeto within 12 hours of receiving your order or we cannot offer a refund or exchange. Please send all photos and videos, along with order# to support@algaedepot.com.
