The Live Phytoplankton Starter Culture Kit is a perfect starter culture kit if you are looking to culture your own Phytoplankton and doesn’t get easier than this! This kit will allow you to start your first culture of Live Phytoplankton. We recommend starting with freshly mixed saltwater SG 1.016-1.020, and a basic LED or CFL light. This kit does not require an airline or culture agitation. You can put it on the window sill or use a CFL light. Be sure to lightly shake it once per day and this should prevent an excess amount of settlement.
